Yes, financial aid is available for those who qualify for it.* Those qualifications are determined by the Department of Education, and we will help you understand what that means in relationship to your investment at Medtech. We understand that your financial investment in your education can be intimidating; thus, each new student at Medtech will be assigned a financial aid specialist who will meet with you individually to create a personalized plan that works for you.
*Financial aid is not available for all programs. To find out if a program offers financial aid, please contact an admissions representative at 1-877-287-1612.
Going back to school is a personal decision, and it’s important to find a school that meets your needs. At Medtech, we stand for delivering an extraordinary personal experience, meaning that our associates and faculty members are excited to get to know you and your specific needs. This is apparent in our classes, which are small in size, and your instructors will adapt the lessons to your individual learning style. Not everyone learns the material in the same way! Most importantly, we offer hands-on training so that you are fully trained and prepared to become professionals in the allied health and nursing fields. We are experts in healthcare career training. It’s what we’re all about. You will receive the benefit of this extraordinary learning experience through interactive classroom activities and discussions, and also through the hands-on “doing” part of the curriculum.
At Medtech, we are focused on healthcare education. It’s what we do best. We’re experts, unlike other schools that teach so many different kinds of programs. As the demand for healthcare workers continues to rise in the double digits, we prepare you to capitalize on these opportunities. Many schools evaluate their success on the number of students that they enroll. Medtech is different, as we measure our success by the number of students we assist in placing in a new career! Upon graduation, our Career Services department will assist you with networking, interview scheduling and preparation, resume writing, and much more.
Medtech graduates receive:
- Extraordinary knowledge and skills to succeed professionally
- Pride and dedication in their chosen career
- A sense of professional responsibility and ethics
- An understanding of excellence in healthcare customer service
Absolutely! We would love to have you visit our campus! We just ask for you to schedule an appointment to ensure that someone is available when you arrive. We want to ensure that your experience is a personal one, so one of our admissions representatives will block off time to spend individually with you. To schedule an appointment, request more information on the website by clicking here, or call us directly 1-877-287-1612.
Absolutely! At Medtech, we are dedicated to providing an extraordinary educational experience to our students. This experience includes personalized hands-on training, as we believe it is essential to practice what you are learning. Most of our programs include on-the-job training at local employer facilities – called an externship or clinical rotation – to provide real-world experience while still in school. In addition, many of our facilities are equipped with simulation labs to further enhance the total learning experience. We believe that practice makes perfect, and we are committed to giving you the practice you need to prepare you to succeed in your new career.
For many of the programs offered, night classes are available, which allows you to continue working while you pursue your education! Classes are scheduled between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10:40 p.m., Monday through Friday, and may vary by campus. Your schedule and hours may vary during the period of time when you are doing on-the-job training (externship) as part of the curriculum and may require eight-hour daily schedules, up to 40 hours per week. Due to limited availability of experiential learning during evening hours, most night programs offer day externships only. Give us a call at 1-877-287-1612 to learn about specific class schedules at the campus nearest you.
While we can never guarantee a career to students after graduation, we are committed to providing individualized career placement assistance to all of our graduates. Each of our campuses has its own Career Services department. During your time at Medtech, the Career Services department will proactively reach out to you to identify potential employment opportunities in the medical field and assist you with resume writing, interviewing and networking skills.
