What do I need to do to enroll?
It really depends on the program you choose. We offer a variety of programs designed to get students the training they need in the shortest amount of time possible. So to begin the process, you would want to request more information on the website or call the campus directly (1-877-287-1612) to speak to an admissions representative. You will be assigned an admissions representative who will personally walk you through the process – step-by-step. Our admissions representatives are trained in making this transition easy to understand and complete!
Is financial aid available?
Yes, financial aid is available for those who qualify for it. Those qualifications are determined by the Department of Education, and we will help you understand what that means in relationship to your investment at Medtech. We understand that your financial investment in your education can be intimidating; thus, each new student at Medtech will be assigned a financial aid specialist who will meet with you individually to create a personalized plan that works for you.
Why would I want to attend Medtech?
Going back to school is a personal decision, and it’s important to find a school that meets your needs. At Medtech, we stand for delivering an extraordinary personal experience, meaning that our students are not just a number – they are a name. This is apparent in our classes, which are small in size and offer hands-on training. We train our students to become professionals in the allied health and nursing fields, so hands-on training is a must! We are experts in healthcare career training. It’s what we’re all about. You get the benefit of this extraordinary learning experience, both in classroom lectures and discussions, and then in the hands-on “doing” part of the curriculum.
How is Medtech different from other schools?
At Medtech, we are focused on healthcare education. It’s what we do best. We’re experts, unlike other schools that teach so many different kinds of programs. As the demand for healthcare workers continues to rise in the double digits, we prepare you to capitalize on these opportunities. Many schools evaluate their success on the number of students that they enroll. Medtech is different, as we measure our success by the number of students we assist in placing in a new career! Upon graduation, our career services team will assist each and every one of our students in networking, interview scheduling and preparation, resume writing, and much more.
Can I schedule a time to visit the campus?
Absolutely! We would love to have you visit our campus! We just ask for you to schedule this time in advance, as we can have numerous people wanting to visit on any given day! We want to ensure that your experience is a personal one, so one of our admissions representatives will block off time to spend individually with you. To schedule an appointment, request more information on the website or call us directly at 1-877-287-1612.
Medtech graduates receive:
Will I have hands-on training?
Absolutely! At Medtech, we are dedicated to providing an extraordinary educational experience to our students. This experience includes personalized hands-on training, as we believe it is essential to practice what you are learning. Most of our programs include either an externship or clinical rotations to provide real-world experience while still in school. In addition, many of our facilities are equipped with simulation labs to further enhance the total learning experience. We believe that practice makes perfect, and we are dedicated to giving our students the practice they need to prepare them to succeed in their chosen field.
Are night classes available?
For many of the programs offered, night classes are available, meaning that students do not have to stop working to return to school! Classes are scheduled between the hours of 8:00 am and 10:40 pm, Monday through Friday, and may vary by campus. Students’ schedules and hours may vary during externships to coincide with site and programmatic requirements and may require eight-hour daily schedules, up to 40 hours per week. Due to limited availability of experiential learning during evening hours, most night programs offer day externships only. Give us a call at 1-877-287-1612 to learn about specific class schedules at the campus nearest you.
Will Medtech help me to find a job after I graduate?
While we can never guarantee a career to students after graduation, we are committed to providing excellent career placement assistance to all of our graduates. Each of our campuses has its own Career Services department. The Career Services department helps to guide students by assisting them in resume writing, interviewing skills, networking, and through the identification of potential employment opportunities in the medical industry.
Medtech's name speaks directly to each campus' primary focus: preparing career professionals for medical-related fields in strong learning environments that are technologically oriented. It also communicates that Medtech campuses provide personalized hands-on, practical learning experiences so students are prepared to achieve all that is possible while creating new futures for themselves in healthcare.
