SILVER SPRING, MD. – (April 3, 2012) – Medtech College, a leading post-secondary healthcare education training provider, has announced the appointment of Mark Millen as Executive Director of the Silver Spring campus. In his new role, Millen will be responsible for business leadership of day-to-day operations of the campus, which offers programs in Medical Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding Specialist and English as a Second Language.

Prior to joining Medtech, Millen served as campus president of York Technical Institute in York, Penn., where he planned, directed and controlled all facets of school operations in accomplishing budgetary and operational objectives. Millen also held campus president positions at several technical, two-year institutions in Maryland and California.

“With his years of higher education experience, I’m confident Mark will help ensure the Silver Spring campus continues to offer our students and future healthcare professionals an extraordinary education,” said Medtech College CEO and President John Hopkins.

Millen received his Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University in Virginia. He has held several community leadership positions, including as a board member of the California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools.
