Our tradition of helping non-English speakers learn to speak English began in 1939 when the Sanz School was originally founded. Many in the community still know us as the Sanz School and now, we're even more. When Sanz was purchased by Medtech College, new programs were added in the allied health fields. Now, students who would like to continue to build their technical skills after learning English can continue on. At Medtech, we strive to help our students acquire the skills and resources they need to be extraordinary in their future careers. We realize the demand is high for ESL programs, which is why we’ve expanded our reach within the community, making it easier for students to learn English.
If you want to improve your English language skills to move ahead in your career, Medtech can help. Our ESL school features an intensive curriculum that can teach you how to speak, listen, read and write in English. Our program is designed to build your fundamental knowledge of the language and culture.
Learning English can be beneficial in your current job, but can also be helpful if you would like to change careers. Bilingual employees are needed in a variety of areas, but particularly in the areas of healthcare and law because it is critical that all parties fully understand the information communicated in these fields.
In our ESL classes, you can learn:
Basic understanding of grammar
Academic reading and writing skills
The Medtech experience
For our students, the decision to enroll in our ESL classes goes much deeper than just taking classes. It involves a commitment to getting the education and training they need to begin a new career.
Medtech’s commitment to our students is just as deep. We will help you get the financial aid you need, if you qualify. Our commitment to helping you in your career doesn’t end when you complete the program. We also offer career services that you can use throughout your career. It’s all part of the Medtech experience, and it’s what separates us from other ESL schools.
Medtech is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Georgia and by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools in Florida, Kentucky and Indiana. Don’t wait to begin a new career!
